Vima Gallery was founded by Mona in 2020 and has expanded every year since. Mona lives in San Diego with her husband and two daughters. She has a rich background in art, having grown up watching her dad design and create unique jewelry when she was a young girl. Mona is adept at drawing, painting, and calligraphy, and she studied traditional Eastern painting (Miniature) under professional instructors. She pursued a degree in Industrial Design at the university and earned her MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Mona held her first gallery showing at the age of 18 as part of a two-person group at SaadAbad Tehran Palace. She has extensive experience in teaching art privately and in groups, including teaching at an elementary school. As a mother of two girls and someone who has worked with kids for years, she particularly enjoys teaching art to children and helping them learn painting techniques while nurturing their childhood creativity and giving them the freedom to explore the endless world of art.
